BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said that the Awami League has vandalized the Dhaka North City Corporation elections. Awami League lost this election and their defeat in the upcoming parliamentary elections. This was stated by Amir Khasru at a discussion meeting organized by Bangladesh Nationalist Cultural Party at the National Press Club conference lounge on Saturday morning. On the occasion of the 82nd birth anniversary of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman, Amir Khasru was the chief guest on the discussion titled ‘Politics of Violence Against Democracy and Human Rights’. Amir Khasru said in the meeting, keeping the gun on the shoulders of the court, this government has been doing an undemocratic work after one another. They did this job in Dhaka North City Corporation elections. Because they were greatly defeated in this election. That’s why they have vandalized this election. He said, they thought that they have no way but to take away their franchise in order to win this election. Otherwise, they will be defeated. Which is not acceptable to them. So this is due to the defeat of the Awami League in the clear DNCCC elections and their defeat in the upcoming parliamentary elections. BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru said that many questions have arisen among the people today for the election that will be held in Bangladesh at the end of 2018. The question is whether the people of Bangladesh can apply the voting rights in the elections? The more we want to remove this question, it comes back again. One question to everyone is that in the next election we will be able to apply our citizenship rights, democratic rights, constitutional rights, or my vote. Presided over by the organizing committee of the organization Humayun Kabir Bamari, BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu, Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon, Independent Affairs Secretary Shirin Sultana, former President of Jasas Rezbuddaula Chowdhury, President of Nationalist Party President Shahjada Syed Mohammad.
